The League of Women Voters of Adams County will hold an informational meeting for interested citizens to learn more about the upcoming ballot initiative on Tuesday, October 6th at 6:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Church, 1479 Hampshire Street, Quincy, Illinois.
Dr. Larry Gray, Superintendent for Quincy Public Schools and Ms. Marilyn Smith will explain the proposed One-Cent Sales Tax Increase that is on the November 3rd ballot to help fund Quincy Public Schools. The public is invited to attend with their questions.
