Parkville Turkey Trail Trot 5k

Start your Thanksgiving with fresh air, family, friends, and a fun tradition at the Parkville Turkey Trail Trot! Held each Thanksgiving morning in beautiful English Landing Park, this beloved event features a flat, fast, and scenic course along the Missouri River, making it perfect for runners chasing a personal best and walkers looking to kick off the holiday with movement. Choose between the professionally timed 5K or the family-friendly 2-mile walk, then enjoy the festive atmosphere before heading home for Thanksgiving dinner. Whether you're continuing a family tradition or joining us for the first time, the Parkville Turkey Trail Trot is the perfect way to celebrate gratitude, community, and healthy living. Best of all, proceeds from the event benefit English Landing Park, the Parkville Nature Sanctuary, and the Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter, helping preserve the natural beauty and community organizations that make Parkville so special. We look forward to seeing you at the starting line on Thanksgiving morning!
