October is Domestic Violence Awareness, Cancer and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Giving Hope & Help is hosting its 14th Annual Feminine Hygiene Period Products Drive & Fundraiser, Saturday, October 17, 2026, 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Robert J. Mohart Multipurpose Center, 3200 Wayne Ave. KCMO. Stop by and make your your donation including pads, individually wrapped feminine wipes, period panties, packaged women's and children's underwear, reusable pads, menstrual cups and discs, Black hair care products or financial contributions. The event also supports Giving Hope & Help's educational and domestic violence advocacy missions. Girls ages 8 and older can register for our Menstrual Education Session, while middle school and high school students can attend our Building Healthy Relationships Session, promoting healthy choices, self-confidence, and positive relationships.
