Discover the natural world anew with Simon Kelly, curator of modern and contemporary art, celebrating the opening of Women Impressionists and the Land https://www.slam.org/exhibitions/women-impressionists-and-the-land/. Kelly will discuss works by Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot, Eva Gonzalès, and others, revealing how nature became a site of artistic innovation, identity, and quiet resistance. These luminous works invite viewers to reconsider how women shaped Impressionism—and how their visions of nature still resonate today.
